HEY guys! Happy Holidays! I hope yours was good and that you were happy and with people you love! :happy: Mine was uneventful, but I’m greatful for what I have. I was hoping to do some good by volunteering and bring desserts to a friends house but that didn’t work out.

Gosh I miss my friends lately! They are such a big part of my life this year and last year. I don’t know how I would get through life without them sometimes. I’m sure I could but it would be much more unpleasant and hard to bear. They put all the light into my life most days.. I finally got to hang out with some yesterday. I went to my friends house and we planned our New Years Party we’re having and then we walked around the neighborhood with my other friend. Then I went to the mall with Jenni and ate dinner and then went to a movie with more friends. It was pretty fun. I bought myself a few belated Christmas presents with some of my X-Mas money. I got an outfit for the new years party and my friends upcoming birthday. I love shopping!!

Anyhoo, it’d been a while since I last updated, so I thought I would let you know what’s been going on with me. Here’s a random food pic:

Man.. today was just one of those days. Life just sucks the energy out of you sometimes.

First, in 2nd period, these kids in my class say “can we take a moment? Our friend just died at Northern. We just got the text.” I felt my stomach drop. I’ve got friends at that school. Then I hear it’s some kid Anthony who got in a car accident, his friend is in intensive care. The news kept coming to me, I got a text too. It made me realize how much we kids connect, even though we’re all so different and apart. The fact that the news spread so fast with technology and stuff just puts things into perspective as much as the accident did.. in different ways.

My friend Heather also got hurt today. I don’t know the details but we have a dance show tomorrow. So she should miss it, unless she forces herself–which wouldn’t surprise me. A lot of other stuff is going on at school. During after-school practices for Dance today there was a lot of drama. Girls were arguing about silly stuff, their attitudes were so outta control I had to excuse myself and just take a break by myself. Some people just don’t think, they don’t care, they don’t know. It’s so frustrating.

I wish I could get away from everyone right now. Except for a few people. A few friends that make my days bearable.. Well I’m off to shower! Good bye!
