Junior Year Begins

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

Ugh so it’s Sunday. Which means tomorrow officially begins my second week of school. This first week was alright. First week is usually just a test-run of weeks to come. But seeing as I have tough, advanced classes I started off the first two days with piles of homework and quizzes. Friday I spent the first part of my weekend studying with my best friend Ray in our favorite cafe, then I spent a few hours with my other friend Dee studying at her house before we went to dinner/baseball game. I like having study buddies. My classes this year are the hardest I’ve ever dealt with. I usually breeze right through school but this year six out of my eight classes are AP. That means next semester I’m dealing with all four classes being AP. This semester I at least have honors Spanish 3 and Newspaper to distract me from Calculus and History. However, next semester I have AP Calc, AP English III, AP Environmental Science, and AP US History. It’s stressful, and it’s crazy, and requires a lot of work but I love it. Besides the crazy school-work load I’m volunteering a lot and I start a new round of dance classes on Sept 15 (ballet!). It’s exciting, all this stuff, I live for a good challenge. And I like feeling useful and productive.

Anyhey, I have some homework that needs handling, but I have to get all my stuff from Dee’s house first since I left it there yesterday. I’m in an irritable mood, the weekend’s too short, I hate homework and I need to get away from my family again. Ahhh. Alrighty then, bye bye!
